Darwin: "Continue to work and learn what the gaffer teaches me"

With four goals and five assists, Darwin Nuñez is one of the standout players in Benfica's squad.

Do you a expect a Standard Liège with a defensive approach, or do you expect to have some space to continue scoring goals?

We will analyze the game with the gaffer and see what we may find tomorrow [Thursday].

You already had the opportunity to do an attacking partnership with Seferovic and with Waldschimdt. Do you have a preference? 

I played with both of them, the truth is that they both play very well, they have a tremendous quality with the ball. The gaffer can change or eve put the two of them together. There is a healthy competition between the four of us [Gonçalo Ramos included]. Whoever plays will play well.

Regarding these changes with Jorge Jesus, you said in an interview that in Almeria you played more like a number 9 and now the gaffer asks you to attack and explore space.  Do you feel like a more well-rounded forward?

I know that I lack many things. Sometimes the gaffer talks to me about details, details that are missing, but I think that in time I will give continuity to what he wants. I will continue to work and learn what the gaffer teaches me
