Assisted by Waldschmidt, Darwin beat McGregor and, already in the added time, scored the third goal of Benfica against Rangers (3-3), in Matchday 3 of the Europa League Group D.

"We take one point. We lost Otamendi at the beginning, but we managed to fight… The teamwork was very important to achieve that", considered the Uruguayan at the end of the match. 

"Looking from the outside, they managed to control the ball in the first half, and it was a little bit hard for us. If I was called to the game, I knew I had to do what the coach asks. I entered concentrated and determined to help the team and, who knows, to score the equalizer", confessed Darwin.
