The Portuguese Football Federation made official the date and time of Benfica's match in the 4th round of the Portuguese Cup de Portugal. The game, at Estádio da Luz, against the winner of the encounter between Vilafranquense and Sanjoanense is scheduled for 8:30 pm on December 13 (Sunday).

The draw of the 4th round of the Portuguese Cup took place last Wednesday (November 25).

In front of almost 50,000 spectators at the Estádio da Luz, Benfica confirmed their qualification for the 2024/2025 Portuguese Cup final on Wednesday night, April 23, by beating Tirsense 4-0 in the second leg of the semi-final (goals from António Silva, Bajrami, Belotti and Barreiro). In the first game, the Eagles had won 0-5. Thus, with a 9-0 aggregate in the semi-final, the Glorioso reached the decisive match of the Portuguese Cup for the 39th time. On their way to Jamor, the Reds overcame Pevidém (0-2), Estrela da Amadora (7-0), Farense (1-3), SC Braga (1-0) and, finally, Tirsense in a two-legged tie.

Benfica-SC Braga: extended match highlights (1-0)

Goal set, goal achieved! Benfica hosted SC Braga at the Estádio da Luz in the quarter-finals of the Portuguese Cup and, with a solid display, won 1-0.
