The 24th edition of the "Football Money League" study, developed by consultant Deloitte, places Sport Lisboa e Benfica in the European top 30 for the fifth consecutive year. Barcelona is once again in the highest position on the podium.

Benfica is the 23rd European club with the most revenues - 170.3 million euros - in 2020, having climbed one position over last year. The "Football Money League" does not contemplate the earnings from player transfers, but only what comes from the operational activity of the clubs.

The Spanish outfit of FC Barcelona reach for the second consecutive time the first place, now with 715.1 million euros, less than one million above Real Madrid, that sits in second place of the ranking. Bayern Munique rounds of the podium with 634.1 million euros.

In the top 30 of Deloitte's analysis, only Zenit from Russia in 15th place, Benfica (23rd) from Portugal, and Ajax (27th) from the Netherlands represent leagues outside the "Big Five" (England, Spain, France, Germany, and Italy). 

The top 20 has seven English clubs (Manchester United, Liverpool, Manchester City, Chelsea, Tottenham, Arsenal, and Everton), four German teams (Bayern Munich, Borussia Dortmund, Eintracht Frankfurt and Schalke 04), three Italian outfits (Juventus, Inter Milan, and Napoli), three Spanish clubs (FC Barcelona, Real Madrid, and Atletico Madrid), two French teams (Lyon and PSG) and one Russian club (Zenit).
