Sport Lisboa e Benfica informs that it has reached an agreement with Famalicão for the permanent transfer of footballer David Tavares.

Nurtured at Benfica Campus (where he arrived in 2016/17), David Tavares (22) made two appearances in the eagles' first team and 36 in the B team.

In the youth ranks, the left-footed midfielder helped the U-19 team become the national champion in 2017/18 and, among other things, was used in several matches of the UEFA Youth League, and was present in the final o the UEFA competition in 2016/17, against Red Bull Salzburg.
