Sport Lisboa e Benfica announces that has reached an agreement with Celta de Vigo, from Spain, for the transfer of Franco Cervi.

The Argentinian international (4 matches / 1 goal), arrived at Luz in 2016/17, coming from Rosario Central.

In his first season with the red jersey played 41 matches and scored seven times in all competitions (National Championship, Super Cup, Portuguese Cup, League Cup and Champions League).

In 2017/18 played 37 matches and scored four goals; in 2018/19 helped in the “Reconquista” with 38 matches and five goals; in 2019/20 scored four goals in 35 matches.

In 2020/21 season was called for 21 matches and scored once against Belenenses SAD for the Portuguese Cup.

With the Benfica jersey, Cervi managed to win six trophies: two National Championships (2016/17 and 2018/19), three Super Cups (2016, 2017 and 2019) and a Portuguese Cup (2016/17).
