Sport Lisboa e Benfica informs that the athletes Janice and Fifó will not be a part of the Women's Futsal squad for the 2021/22 season.

Key pieces in the 4-in-a-row championships, they decided to start a new chapter in their career with an overseas experience.

Janice, since 2011/12 with the eagles, and Fifó, since 2014/15, won four National Championships, four Super Cups, five Portuguese Cups and a League Cup, recently introduced in the Portuguese calendar.

To both players, SL Benfica wishes great personal and professional success.

Preparing for a new clash

Benfica's professional football team began preparations for their clash with Auckland City on Friday, June 20, at 12 noon (5:00 pm continental time) at Inter&Co Stadium in Orlando, on matchday 2 of Group C of the 2025 Club World Cup with a two 30-minute halves training match against FC Naples on Tuesday, June 17. The Eagles won 2-1, with goals from Gonçalo Oliveira and Belotti.
