Congratulations, Fernando Pimenta, João Ribeiro and Messias Baptista, for the national titles achieved, this Sunday, in Montemor-o-Velho!

The good performance from our canoeists in the Sprint National Championship is a great indicator, with the Olympic Games coming up, where, in canoeing, our athlete Teresa Portela will also honor the colors of Portugal.

I want to take this opportunity to dedicate words of pride and motivation to all the names associated with Sport Lisboa e Benfica in Tokyo; canoeing, athletics, judo, triathlon, handball, football, swimming, and taekwondo, in a total of  25 athletes.

We have been closely following your focused and resilient work and training routines for a long time, and we will be rooting for you all.
