Gonçalo Ramos decided the match against Lille, the French champion, with a header (1-0) and was pleased with the way Jorge Jesus' team performed at Estádio Algarve, in the penultimate pre-season test.

"The preparation is going very well [collectively]. We have been working very well, we are getting in shape and working towards the real goal", he said, in an allusion to the clash of the 3rd qualifying round of the Champions League, highlighting to BTV the importance of the test against Lille. "We faced an opponent of great quality, who is in the Champions League, and we showed that we are prepared for this level of opponent. We try to be prepared for every scenario and play in every way we need to", he stressed.

It should be noted that SL Benfica ends the pre-season on Sunday, July 25, against the French of Marseille (8 pm), in what will be the return to Estádio da Luz.
