André Almeida: "The win and the qualification were the most important"
Benfica's captain scored the winner in the away match at Trofense in the 3rd round of the Portuguese Cup.

The strike that broke the deadlock in Trofa came out of André Almeida's right foot in the 4th minute of extra time. Taking part in the offensive play, Benfica's captain beat the goalkeeper and sealed the victory (1-2) and the consequent qualification for the 4th round of the Portuguese Cup.
"We knew it was going to be a complicated game. Trofense is a well-organized team, they created some difficulties for us, more in their defensive process, because it is a team that defends well. The most important thing was for us to leave this place with the victory and the qualification to the next round of the competition", analyzed André Almeida.
"The goal? I scored it, it could have been any one of my teammates The important thing is to feel good and keep doing our work, because things will show up", commented the eagles' number 34.
