The President of Sport Lisboa e Benfica, Rui Costa, welcomed this morning at the Estádio da Luz Mr. John Textor, who subsequently had a working meeting with two of the Club's vice-presidents.

The meeting was cordial and Mr. John Textor was asked to send additional information about his intentions towards Benfica, to be later evaluated and analyzed by the Board.

No further meeting with Mr. John Textor is planned for the time being.

Estoril-Benfica: extended highlights (1-2)

What a great atmosphere in Amoreira, it's the Red Wave! Visiting the Estádio António Coimbra da Mota for the 32nd and antepenultimate matchday of the Liga Betclic, Benfica imposed themselves and won 1-2. The Eagles' goals on Saturday night, May 3, were scored by Aursnes and Otamendi.

The rain, the cold, the wind, the late hour... nothing stopped the Red Wave from making its presence felt and carrying Benfica to a 1-2 victory over Estoril at the Estádio António Coimbra da Mota in matchday 32 of the Liga Betclic. Aursnes (7') and Otamendi (36') scored the goals for Glorioso. Determined display, goal achieved in the fight for the title.

It's beautiful... it's Benfica! The bus carrying SL Benfica's delegation arrived at the Estádio António Coimbra da Mota and it was breathtaking! Despite the adverse weather conditions (rain, cold and wind!), hundreds of Benfiquistas welcomed the arrival of the Glorioso. The heart tirelessly supporting the lung... Watch and listen!

The celebration of the five-time champions at Benfica Campus!

Before and after the match from matchday 21 of the Liga BPI, against Clube de Albergaria (5-0), the women's football team of Benfica was showered with crowds while celebrating their 5th league in a row. The afternoon began with an autograph session attended by hundreds of fans and, at the end of the game, there was time to lift the trophy and take it to the central stand of Benfica Campus Field No. 1, in a celebration in total communion with the fans.
