To mark the launch of the Benfica Futsal Program, it will be presented on Thursday, November 4, an exclusive masterclass which will have as main topic the exploitation of young talents for the first team of Sport Lisboa e Benfica.

The initiative will count with the presence of Luís Estrela, technical coordinator of the Men’s futsal youth training, and Estevão Cordovil, the assistant coach of the first team of SL Benfica. The masterclass will be led by the international guest Jason Stephens from the PROPLAYER Futsal.

The masterclass is freeand represents the kick-off of the Benfica Futsal Program. It starts this Thursday at 8 pm (Lisbon time). The registrations are limited and available HERE.

Trained at Sport Lisboa e Benfica, Renato Sanches returned home in August 2024, on a one-year loan from PSG. Throughout the 2024/25 season, the midfielder made in Benfica played in 21 games and scored 1 goal, making a significant contribution to the club's 8th League Cup victory. SL Benfica wishes Renato Sanches all the best. Benfica fought until the end for a different outcome in the last 16 of the Club World Cup, but after extra time they fell to Chelsea (1-4), thus ending their journey in the first edition of the competition in the United States of America. In a game that was interrupted in the 86th minute due to the threat of a thunderstorm and ended almost five hours after the kick-off, Di María leveled the score at 90'+5' (1-1), taking the match into 30 minutes of extra time, during which time the result hung in the balance for the English at the Bank of America Stadium in Charlotte.
