The athlete Lucas Veríssimo travels today to Barcelona, where he will undergo surgery. The Brazilian international will be accompanied by Benfica's doctor and a physiotherapist.

Lucas Veríssimo suffered a rupture of the anterior cruciate ligament in Benfica's match against Sporting de Braga at Estádio da Luz on Npvember 7.
