Otamendi was relentless against the Catalan attack and, as a result of a brilliant performance, was voted "Man of the Match" by UEFA. Benfica clinched a draw on matchday 5 and (0-0)and will decide its future in the Champions League in the clash with Dynamo Kiyv, at Luz.

"I am happy because the team played a great match against Barcelona, in a difficult ground, facing a great team with a new coach, another mentality and ambition. It was a very even match, we could have won, we could have lost, but we gave a great effort and I am happy for the team", claimed Otamendi.

"I think in the end we could have gotten the win, but it didn't happen. Seferovic tried, he didn't succeed, but we will keep going. We have another final at home and we will play to win and remain in the competition", explained the eagles center-back.
