Cassandra Korhonen
Born in Sweden, Cassandra Korhonen made almost her entire career in her home country, where she had spells at clubs like Västeras IK, Västeras BK 30, and Uppsala, before heading to Finland in 2021 to represent Aland United.
"It's a huge club, professional, with a great team. It's very different from the other clubs where I played, even technically, we run a lot more, but I'm ready. I hope I can score a lot of goals and help the team win trophies ", she stressed.
With a gifted left foot, Cassandra Korhonen was pivotal in the way she energized Aland United's attack. With 21 goals in 23 matches and three assists, she was Kansallinen Liiga's second top scorer in 2021, according to Wyscout.

The young forward featured in the starting XI in the two matches played by the Finnish team in the 1st qualifying round of the UEFA Women's Champions League 2021/22, in which she scored a goal and provided an assist. She also helped Aland United win the SM Suomen Cup.
"All players want to be in the Champions League. I know there are more competitive teams in the league, which will be interesting to see on the pitch. I want to win the League with the Club. We have important games ahead and we want to win", she claimed.
