Henrique Araújo

Benfica's squad is preparing for the game against Boavista in the semi-final of the League Cup. On the eve of the match, the first 15 minutes of the training session, led by Nélson Veríssimo were open to the media, with the highlight being the presence of Henrique Araújo.

The Benfica B striker was one of the new faces in the work session led by coach Nélson Veríssimo, who is missing Otamendi and Darwin, called for the national teams of Argentina and Uruguay, respectively.

Absent from the session were Lucas Veríssimo, Rodrigo Pinho and Seferovic, all injured. On the day of Paulo Bernardo's 20th birthday, central defender Vertonghen and midfielders Weigl, Taarabt and Rafa took anti-doping tests requested by UEFA to the teams that are still competing in the European competitions and joined the training session later.
