Odysseas: "We accomplished our goal going to the final"

At the end of the 90 minutes of the Benfica-Boavista match in the semi-finals of the League Cup, the encounter was tied 1-1. As a result of a solid display and direct influence in the eagles' win (3-2) in the penalty shootout, Odysseas, who made his 150th appearance with the Sacred Mantle, was named the "Man of the Match".

"It was a typical League Cup match. A difficult game, with ups and downs, in a difficult ground, but we accomplished our goal going to the final and we are happy for that", claimed Odysseas, in statements to Sport TV.
