"One of the reasons I accepted was the project that Benfica presented to me. I knew it was a difficult challenge, but I decided to face it. I am happy and motivated to wear a jersey like this one", he said.
The pivot started his futsal career in São Paulo, playing for Red Bull Brasil (2010/11) as a U-19 player, then he had spells at to Corinthians (2016) and Magnus Futsal (2017 and 2018). This was followed by a move to Europe and Portugal where, for three seasons (from 2018 to 2021), he played for Sporting and, in 101 matches in the various competitions, scored 63 goals. Before signing for the reds, the Brazilian international represented Carlos Barbosa (2021).
In his list of honors, the left-footed goal scorer has two Champions Leagues, one Portuguese Championship, two Portuguese Cups, one League Cup, two Super Cup, one Brazilian Championship and one Brazil futsal Super Cup.

At the presentation at Luz, Rocha left a message to the Benfiquistas, with a promise of dedication.
"There will be no lack of dedication, strength, or determination. This is what is expected from an athlete on the court, and I hope to contribute as much as I can. I am looking forward to feeling the warmth of the fans, and I come with the desire to win. I am looking forward to my debut and hope to live up to the expectations", he revealed.
