The UEFA Refereeing Committee has appointed Slovenian referee Slavko Vincic, international since 2010, to officiate the first leg of last 16 of the Champions League between Benfica and Ajax, at 8:00 pm on Wednesday, February 23, at Estádio da Luz.

Tomaz Klancnik and Andraz Kovacic will be the assistant referees and Rade Obrenovic will be the fourth official.

German Marco Fritz will be in the role of video referee (VAR), assisted by Slovenian Jure Praprotnik (AVAR).
