Benfica beat V. Guimarães by 3-0 this Sunday at Estádio da Luz, in the match from gameweek 24 of the Liga Bwin. Gilberto stood out in the assists, Gonçalo Ramos and Darwin in the goals. The 62nd minute was also one of emotion for the unconditional support of the Benfiquistas to Yaremchuk in this delicate moment.

The most exciting moment came in the 62' with Yaremchuk's entrance on the pitch. The entire Estádio da Luz stood up in clear support of the Ukrainian Benfica player - who was visibly emotional - and of Ukraine for the difficult days they have been going through. Vertonghen also made a point of handing the captain's armband to the striker.

 

With the 3-0 win over V. Guimarães, Benfica now has 54 points in the Liga Bwin standings. Next up is the away match against Portimonense, on matchday 25, a game scheduled for 6 pm on Saturday, March 5.
