I would like to congratulate the Sport Lisboa e Benfica women's basketball team for winning the second Portuguese Cup in its history.

After last season's historic achievement, everyone's determination has led to another triumph in this chapter of success that has been building in the history of the sport.

The entire coaching staff, athletes, and structure are to be congratulated for this achievement, reached in the week that we celebrate the 118th anniversary of our Club.

In an emotional match 5 that only ended in black, the Eagles triumphed 3-2 thus winning this frantic play-off final by the same score. 50 years after their last victory, the Benfica Museum - Cosme Damião once again received the trophy for the National Women's Volleyball Championship.
