I would like to congratulate the Sport Lisboa e Benfica women's basketball team for their unprecedented victory in the Federation Cup.

Less than a month after winning the Portuguese Cup, the resilience of our basketball players was the guarantee of a new trophy for the Benfica Museum - Cosme Damião. For the first time, the sport won the Federation Cup and made history again.

The entire coaching staff, athletes, and structure are to be congratulated for this achievement, the 3rd consecutive this season.
