The draw held in Nyon on the morning of Thursday, April 7, determined that Benfica will face Barcelona (Spain) in the semi-finals of the UEFA Futsal Champions League final four, at the Arena Riga (Latvia), on April 29. 

The final of the competition is scheduled for May 1st 1.

Gonçalo Alves, Benfica's team manager, reacted to the draw, in declarations to BTV.

"At this stage of the final four there are the best teams in the world, there wasn't much to choose from. That's what we got in the draw. Now it's time to work and train hard so we can be at an excellent level and beat Barcelona to reach the final", said the team manager.

Benfica's Under-17s beat FC Porto on Sunday, June 15, on matchday 18 of the National Championship and won the 3rd consecutive league title in the competition and the 22nd in the club's history. At Benfica Campus Field No. 1, Tomás Soares (45'+1') and José Neto (54') scored the goals that gave the Eagles a 2-1 victory.
