Third hat-trick in this edition of the Liga Bwin, 24th strike in 24 matches, n average of one goal per game in the competition: Darwin materialized the team's effort in Benfica's win over B SAD (3-1) at Estádio da Luz on matchday 29 of the Championship, reinforced his status and statistics in the competition and was elected "Man of the Match"!

"I am very happy for our victory. We came from a home defeat in the Champions League, but in this game we showed that Benfica is up for big things, to win! Now we must rest and think about the next match", commented the Uruguayan international. 

"I'm happy to score and to help the team score goals. The most important thing is the effort from day to day. The match is an exam for us, that we have to come and demonstrate. With the help of my colleagues this is all becoming possible", claimed Darwin.

"Thank you to all our fans! We will try to give our best until the end of the season", he guaranteed.
