It is with tremendous pride that I follow the extraordinary evolution of our women's football team, which today achieved the second consecutive championship.

The victory in the derby this afternoon was, besides being fully deserved, a moment of special emotion with a new attendance record in official women's competitions in Portugal: 14,221 spectators. Congratulations to the Inspiradoras! Congratulation to our supporters!

I strongly believe in the work that Sport Lisboa e Benfica is developing in women's football, and I am convinced that the future will be even more auspicious.

Thanks to all the female soccer players of SL Benfica for the commitment and dedication that made this second championship in a row real.

Thank you to the Club's extensive team of professionals, representing several departments, who provide daily support in every detail, at every moment of the competition. We are all Benfica!
