It is with great pride and pleasure that I congratulate our women’s handball team for the conquer of the National Championship, 29 years after the last one. A tremendous achievement for our club which takes place on the same date of their first game, 50 years ago.

This title results from the perseverance, resilience, and hard work of all the involved. Congratulations to the athletes, coaching staff and staff for this unforgettable season that brought us the 8^th National Championship.

Your dedication is a source of pride to all the Benfiquistas and I am sure that we will keep winning in the future.

Open training session: highlights

Roger Schmidt opened the gates of the training session for the first time since he arrived at Benfica. In front of 23 470 spectators (record in a training session at the Stadium), the team showed the work done in the first week of the pre-season and played a high intensity match.
