The new coach of Sport Lisboa e Benfica's professional football team for the next two seasons (until 2024), Roger Schmidt arrives in Lisbon this Tuesday morning, May 24, and is expected at Humberto Delgado Airport at 10:30 am.

The German coach (55 years old) will be at the Club's facilities to formalize the contract signature and will have several work meetings at Estádio da Luz and at Benfica Campus.

The new coach of Sport Lisboa e Benfica's professional football team, Roger Schmidt, arrived at Lisbon this Tuesday morning, May 24, penned a contract with contract with Benfica valid for two seasons at the Benfica Museum – Cosme Damião  and continued the planning and preparation for the 2022/23 season, duly articulated with President Rui Costa and General Manager Lourenço Coelho. The German coach met some of the Club's departments, interacted with employees at Estádio da Luz and participated in several work meetings.
