BENFICA TRAINING SESSION

Work continues at a good pace for the 2022/23 pre-season of SL Benfica's Professional Football. This Thursday, coach Roger Schmidt led a training session (11:00 am), whose first 15 minutes were open to all media, and that you can watch here...

In the first minutes in Seixal, special emphasis for the absence of Lucas Veríssimo, still in recovery, and the internationals. Samuel Soares, Helton Leite, André Gomes, Gilberto, André Almeida, Grimaldo, António Silva, Tomás Araújo, Morato, Bah, Ristic, João Mário, Pizzi, Rafa, Gil Dias, Diogo Gonçalves, Chiquinho, Meïte, Weigl, Tiago Gouveia, Paulo Bernardo, Florentino, Martim Neto, Diego Moreira, Neres, Rodrigo Pinho, Henrique Araújo and Musa were the 28 players present in the training session. 

The physical intensity was visible, with the effort of the coaching staff and athletes, and the curiosity that the assistant Yann-Benjamin Kugel was speaking in Portuguese. Luisão, technical and performance director, was also present at Benfica Campus.

The first moment of contact between the supporters and the team will be next Sunday, July 3, at Estádio da Luz, in the open training session, as per the invitation already made by the coach.
