Daniela Silva is the new signing of the women's football team of Sport Lisboa e Benfica. Coming from Famalicão, the 23-year-old player signed contract until 2024.

"This is another step regarding to the season I’ve done, to what I’ve done over time and to my evolution. I think the great majority of the players aim to arrive at a Club as great as Benfica and with such a rich History. I’m extremely happy to be here", reacted Daniela Silva, in BTV.

Daniela Silva points to titles and shows her desire to participate in the Champions League.

"I hope I can improve, develop myself and win titles. I strongly want to be National Champion and win the Portuguese Cup, lost in the previous season [against Sporting]. Any player has the dream to play the Champions League and I hope I can do it this year", declared the U23 Portuguese international.
