Alexander Bah: "It was a good start"

Alexander Bah spoke this Sunday to the press before this morning's training session at St- George's Park.

New signing for 2022/23, the right-back stood out in the friendly against Reading. Scored once and still provided the assist for the second goal. "It was a good start, but even if I didn’t score I would think the same way. We had some good training sessions. It was good to start this way", revealed the player to the press.

Alexandre Bah also spoke about himself...

"I’m a powerful player, who likes to be in both boxes. I got speed on my feet. I like to be involved in goals and assistances, and, of course, I like a clean sheet, like we got yesterday [Ssturday]", said the Danish international.

In terms of the expectations for the approaching season, the right-back was clear: "When you play for Benfica you have to be ambitious and give 100%. We want to win every game. We take a game at a time and then we’ll see", said Bah, already thinking about the future. "I feel very good, and I feel like I’m learning every day. I’m looking forward to the Champions League qualification and to the start of the League. We got to be ready", he declared.
