MATCH HIGHLIGHTS

Benfica kicked off this edition of the Liga Bwin with a 4-0 triumph over Arouca, on 1.ª jornada. Rafa (2), Gilberto y Enzo scored the goals and gave color to a very positive exhibition before the 53,617 spectators present at Estádio da Luz.

In the opening match of the 2022/23 edition of the competition, the Reds started the match with the same eleven they started against Midtjylland, in the 1st leg of the Champions League 3rd qualifying round.

Benfica started the Liga Bwin on a high note, four goals scored, no goals conceded and three points. The next match of the men under Roger Schmidt is scheduled for 6:45 pm on Tuesday, August 9, against Midtjylland, in the 2nd leg of the Champions 3rd qualifying round.
