Benfica Training Session: 15 minutes

Benfica’s goal is to reach the Champions League Group Stage for the 12^th time in the last 13 seasons. Next Tuesday, at 8 pm, August 23, the reds will face Dynamo Kyiv at Estádio da Luz, in the play-off 2^nd leg. With a 2-goal lead secured in Lodz (0-2), the eagles completed a training session this morning at Benfica Campus. Only João Victor and Lucas Veríssimo, recovering from injuries, were out of the session.

With the match of the 2nd leg of the Champions League 3rd qualifying round against Midtjylland, in Denmark, in mind, SL Benfica's professional football squad trained this Monday, August 8, at the Benfica Campus. Neres, under treatment, does not participate in this work session, as well as Lucas Veríssimo and João Victor. SL Benfica kicks off the 2022/23 official season on Tuesday, at 8 pm, at Estádio da Luz. The Reds will face Midtjylland in the 1st leg of the 3rd qualifying round of the Champions League. In the match preview, Roger Schmidt stressed that the team is ready, and the players, in the training held at Benfica Campus, reiterated the idea.
