The Swedish referee Andreas Ekberg, international since 2013, was appointed by UEFA for the game from Matchday 1 of the Champions League (Group H) between Benfica and Maccabi Haifa, next Tuesday at 8 pm, September 6, at Estádio da Luz.

Mehmet Culum and Niklas Nyberg will be the assistants and Fredrik Klitte the 4th official.

Dennis Higler will be the VAR and Pol van Boekel the AVAR.
