In a match which they dominated from the opening minute, Benfica registered their seventh win in as many matches in the Liga Bwin (13th in all competitions). Gonçalo Ramos stood out with a brace in the victory over Marítimo (5-0) and was voted "Man of the Match". 

"It was a one-sided match, in which we were always looking for the victory. We were always attacking and scored five goals. We could have scored more, against a tight Marítimo, but we accomplished our goal", analyzed Gonçalo Ramos to BTV.

For Benfica's number 88, "it's always good" to be elected "Man of the Match", but the forward emphasized, above all, the role of the team led by Roger Schmidt and the imposing force of the 12th player in the stands.

"The most important thing is to win, in a fantastic environment [at Estádio da Luz]! And with these fans we have a head startd", said Gonçalo Ramos, who now has eight goals this season, four of which in the Liga Bwin.
