Benfica volleyball team beat Levoranta Sastamala (3-1) this Wednesday, October 26, at Luz's Pavilion n.º 2, in the 2nd leg of round 3 of the Champions League, and guaranteed its presence in the group stage of the competition.

Benfica fought until the end for a different outcome in the last 16 of the Club World Cup, but after extra time they fell to Chelsea (1-4), thus ending their journey in the first edition of the competition in the United States of America. In a game that was interrupted in the 86th minute due to the threat of a thunderstorm and ended almost five hours after the kick-off, Di María leveled the score at 90'+5' (1-1), taking the match into 30 minutes of extra time, during which time the result hung in the balance for the English at the Bank of America Stadium in Charlotte.
