In Portugal's last game before the start of the World Cup in Qatar there were three Benfica players in action: António Silva was the starter and Gonçalo Ramos came on in the second half, scored and assisted João Mário in the 4-0 win against Nigeria.

António Silva made his debut with the Portuguese Senior national team, he played 90 minutes and was at a good level. The center-back earned 7,6 score from Sofascore, who highlighted the four clearances made, the two interceptions, the three tackles and the four duels won in five. He finished the match with 99% passing efficiency (73 out of 74).
Benfica's midfielder João Mário came on at 46' and played on the right side of the attack. He scored the last goal at 84' after a back-heel assist from Gonçalo Ramos. The Sofascore platform gave him a score of 7.6, as a result of 83% pass success (24 out of 29), one successful dribble and two duels won out of three.
Gonçalo Ramos, eagles' striker, bagged the first cap for the Portuguese national team (he came on at 66'). Besides assisting João Mário for the 4-0, the striker made the 3-0, at 82', when finishing, after Raphael Guerreiro's pass, a good collective play. He got an 8 rating in Sofascore, as he scored a goal, made an assist and created a big opportunity.
