Rui Costa: "We work so that the Benfiquista Family is increasingly proud of its Club"

On "another Benfica day", the Club President  made a point of being present at the 8th World Sueca Tournament of the Casas and, on the sidelines of the event, addressed Glorioso's current situation. 

"Thank you to all the Casas do Benfica that continue to be a very important pillar in the history and life of our Club. We are spread all over the World, and this is one of our greatest feelings of pride", stressed the President.

Rui Costa was received with a loud ovation, a moment of enormous Benfiquism and Mystique.

"I am honored and proud", he said, speaking afterward, to BTV, about the situation lived by Glorioso.

"It is a good moment for the Club! This is our job. Trying to make the Benfiquista Family more united, have more and more pleasure in their Club, and that's what we work hard for, trying to make the years be and end up like this one is going, at the sportive level", he explained.

"Not only in football, but also in the other sports, it has been a positive year so far, but there is still a long way to go to the conquests and this focus can't be lost, and we can't be dazzled by the fact that things are going well", alerted the President.

"What we must do after the interruption of the Championship and also in the other sports, is to win, and the focus we had at the beginning of the season to program all the teams and the titles we want must remain, even though things are the way they are at the moment. That's the way we want to go and that's why we have this way of being in the Club which is to feel that people are happy with what is being done", concluded Rui Costa.
