Gonçalo Ramos scored another goal with an eagle on his chest (15th of the season), but the result registered by Benfica at Moreirense's home ground (1-1) ended up favoring the team from Minho, which, with the same points as the reds, benefited from having one more goal scored entering the 3rd and final round of group C of the League Cup.

"We were superior. We tried to score the second goal, go for the win... Merit to Moreirense and especially to their goalkeeper, who made a great display. Congratulations to Moreirense for advancing to the next stage", commented Gonçalo Ramos, to Sport TV.

"We always play to win, there's no time to dwell on disappointments. We will prepare for the next Championship match against Braga. We want to be champions and win the Portuguese Cup as well", highlighted the Portuguese international forward.

"I am 100 percent focused on Benfica. This result was not what we wanted, but in two weeks we face Braga, it's maximum focus on that game", stressed the reds' number 88.

An unforgettable Children's Day

This Tuesday, May 27, the Benfica Foundation and Sport Lisboa e Benfica marked World Children's Day with the participation of more than 1,500 young people.  Between the Estádio da Luz pitch and the pavilions, there were fun, educational and sporting activities, with the contribution of the various sports and the partners of the Club and the Foundation. Lively, with everything designed to stimulate the children and provide them with different experiences, this was a “very special” moment, as Jorge Miranda, director of the Foundation, told BTV.
