Benfica thrashed Amora FC by 8-0, this Sunday afternoon, on matchday 11 of the Liga BPI, the last of the first half of the season.

Perfect first half of the league! Benfica is the sole leader and only with victories in the Liga BPI, with 33 points; they have the best attack, with 48 goals scored, and they own the best defense, with only two goals conceded!

Now the attention turns to the Portuguese Cup… and the derby! Benfica and Sporting will face each other at 3 pm o January 21 (Saturday) at Estádio da Luz, in the quarterfinals of the competition.

Historic day for Benfica and Portuguese football! On Saturday, April 12, the Inspiradoras celebrated winning the fifth national championship in a row after beating Valadares Gaia 0-3, on matchday 20 of the Liga BPI, with goals from Christy Ucheibe (29'), Cristina Prieto (42') and Beatriz Cameirão (75'). Liga BPI: Best Coaching Staff in October and November

With five wins in as many games played by Benfica in the competition during October and November 2024, coach Filipa Patão received the award for Best Coaching Staff in the Liga BPI - which she leads with a 100 percent winning record. The coach was grateful for the award, praising “a group that works every day to try to be better”. "I think this team has always been very ambitious and has always been hungry for titles, to win more, to look forward and to put new goals on the table. That's the secret," said the coach of the four-time national champions. Filipa Patão also received the most votes in August and September.
