In the event that marks the start of the world circuit in 2023, Bárbara Timo (-63 kg) won the gold medal at the Portugal Grand Prix, which takes place in Almada until Sunday, January 29.

At the end, the judoka, 16th in the world ranking, did not hide her satisfaction. "I felt everyone's energy, and I am very happy. Last year I couldn't be here, but I worked hard, and it's a process for Paris 2024. I want to thank the fans, the Club and the coach Ana Hormigo, who is with me in good and bad moments", claimed Bárbara Timo.
