On a visit to the United States of America, José Moreira, the goalkeeper who represented SL Benfica over 12 seasons (1999-2011) and ended his career in 2019, was cherished by Benfiquistas.

This Thursday, February 2, the former player, national champion with an eagle on his chest in 2004/05, was received with great enthusiasm at Sport Newark e Benfica, branch 21 of the Club. Moreira was able to socialize with two hundred fans and, at the barbecue, also took the opportunity to show his cooking skills.

This Saturday, February 4, the former player will be in Hartford for a dinner that will take place at the Casa Benfica in this city.

Also in the United States, the director of the Casas Benfica department,  Jorge Jacinto, met with the Board of Directors of the Casa Benfica Danbury, Embassy #167, which will host the Image Standardization project at its current facilities of more than 2,000 square meters.

This Sunday, May 4, Benfica Campus' Field No. 1 was the stage for celebrating the 26th national Under-19 title. Needing just one point to celebrate, Benfica's U19 team became champions after a 2-2 draw against FC Porto in round 13 of the championship round, and lifted the trophy on the pitch, celebrating afterward with the fans who were tireless in their support for Luís Araújo's team.
