Casas Benfica: working meetings in the USA and Canada

Between February 2 and 4, several work meetings were held involving the Casas do Sport Lisboa e Benfica department and the Casas and Subsidiaries of the Club in the United States of America and Canada.

With constant improvement as a primary goal, the Sport Newark and Benfica, Cambridge, Danbury, New Bedford, Hartford, Cumberland, and Toronto embassies have made important contributions and suggestions to improve the relationship and connection between these Casas and Subsidiaries and the parent company, taking into account the different latitudes that require different schedules.

The meetings, which were attended by Jorge Jacinto, director of the Casas do Benfica department, Manuel Constantino, current Casas delegate in this part of the world, and about thirty embassy directors, were very fruitful. The Casas that are already networked, and that, by this means, have seen improved processes in terms of communication, management of Members, invoicing or organization, have motivated other Benfica spaces present in the United States and Canada to do the same.

Among several topics, it was defined the urgency of installing/importing the network connection system of the Casas to SL Benfica, as well as the need to move forward with Image standardization, improve several digital tools, such as social networks, and improve the facilities so that the social, sportive and cultural offer capacity is even bigger and better.

This trip ended in a celebration of pure "Benfiquism" in Hartford. The event gathered more than 400 people and was attended by the Club's former goalkeeper, Moreira, a player who was widely cherished by all present.
