Five players from Benfica's first team were in action this Saturday, March 25, with their respective national teams. Aursnes was a starter with Norway, and Petar Musa made is debut for Croatia. André Gomes, João Neves and Schjelderup secured the qualification for the U-19 European Championships.

André Gomes was once again a starter, as well as João Neves (came off at half-time), in the 3-0 win over the Czech Republic. A victory with goals from Gabriel Brás and the player from Benfica's youth ranks, Hugo Félix, who scored a brace and provided an assist. A result that allowed them to qualify for the final phase of the competition, which will take place in Malta in July.

Schjelderup's Norway also secured a spot in the competition. Benfica's player was a starter in the 1-2 win over France.

Aursnes was part of national coach Stale Solbakken's starting eleven. Norway faced Spain in Málaga, on matchday 1 of group A of the Euro 2024 qualifiers. The benfiquista played 90 minutes in the 3-0 loss.

Petar Musa made is debut with the Croatian national team at 53'. The striker came on to replace Livaja, but could not prevent a one-all draw with Wales.
