Siqueira: "The strength of the fans is a plus for the players"

National Champion for Benfica in 2013/14, Siqueira is rooting for the success of the team led by Roger Schmidt, with four rounds to go in the Liga Bwin 2022/23.

First place since the opening round of this Championship, Benfica (77 points) faces SC Braga (3rd, with 71 points) at 8:30 pm on Saturday, May 6, at Estádio da Luz.

PLAYERS "USED TO WINNING"

"I have a lot of confidence in the squad. The players have already shown throughout the season what a team they are, and how strong they are mentally as well. I'm sure that, with these four points, we will be able to keep the lead and win the title so long awaited by all Benfiquistas. We don't have to think about what has happened recently, the defeats, the loss of confidence, but rather know that we are leaders and that we have a four-point lead. I'm sure these players are used to winning, and the fans will be very important, as they always have been. I am very hopeful, very confident that Benfica will be Portuguese champion once again."
