Author of first Benfica's goal, who drew against Sporting (2-2) in the derby from matchday 33 of the Liga Bwin, Aursnes praised the attitude displayed by the Reds in the second half.

"We had a good conversation. We didn't play the way we wanted to in the first half. Sporting played a good game at that stage, but we gave a great response in the second half. Unfortunately, we went to halftime down 2-0, but we had a good second half", analyzed Aursnes, in the flash interview to Sport TV.

"We had to show more courage, bravery, and more fighting spirit. I think we showed that in the second half. We showed team spirit and character. We almost managed to complete the comeback, which shows the good collective spirit", he mentioned.

Aursnes

The midfielder, who totals 41 matches with his eagle on his chest this season, considered: "We wanted to win the game and become champions today."

"The fans were amazing, as always. We hope to make them happy next week", he wished, in a reference to the home match against Santa Clara, at Estádio da Luz Stadium, in the last round of the Liga Bwin 2022/23.
