Captain of the Women's Football team of Benfica, Sílvia Rebelo extended contract until 2024.
"I could only be happy to continue wearing the Sacred Mantle, to represent Benfica at the highest level and give joy to the fans", said Sílvia Rebelo, to BTV.
At Benfica since 2018, the year the project began, the central defender admitted that the last five years were "quite happy". "Before being at Benfica, it was already the Club of my life. I want to keep being happy here," added the three-time national champion.
"Those who follow the project from the beginning see the steps we have already taken. Even worldwide, everyone already knows Benfica women’s football, in just five years. We want to continue to give joy to the fans and put Benfica up there", she stressed.

Used in 125 games, she is the 5th athlete with the most games with the red jersey. Experienced, Sílvia Rebelo aims to collect titles. " I will continue to give everything for this club. We keep walking walk together and I hope it will be another glorious year, "she concluded.
