It is with great happiness that I address congratulations to our women’s futsal team for winning the unprecedented 6th national championship in a row!

Pushed by the fervent support of dozens of benfiquistas at Pavilhão do Grupo Nun'Álvares, the women’s futsal team made history again!

In addition to the 6th consecutive national title, the first celebrated by a team in Portugal, our athletes finish brilliantly the season that began with the Super Cup and in which they managed to win the League Cup and the Portuguese Cup again.

Congratulations to the squad and staff!

It was with a thrilling  3-4 victory over Sporting in Game 5 of the Liga Placard play-off final that Benfica won back the competition on Sunday, June 29, at the João Rocha Pavilion - after also winning Game 1 (4-4; 3-4 ap) and Game 4 (7-5 aet) of the competition.
