Aursnes: "Motivated to start the new season"

Benfica started this Wednesday, July 5, the works of the new season. At the start of 2023/24, Aursnes was one of the faces present and, in an interview, he underlined the pride felt for being part of the Club, pointing out the future goals...

"It [the Club] is very special, and I feel very proud to be here, and to be part of this", he expressed.

"e vacation was good. It was good to have some time to rest. Now I'm motivated to start a new season."

SEASON

"I think we always want to evolve and improve, we want to progress and we have that ambition. We always want to learn and do better. The group, the players and the coaches are very motivated. It is a group with a lot, a lot of ambition."

SL BENFICA

"The fans and the magnitude of the Club? I don't know if it surprised me, but to be able to witness it. It was fantastic. It's very special, and I feel very proud to be here, and to be part of this."

EXPECTATIONS

"It's hard to say. I think there are good teams, and we want to compete, of course, we have that will, we are motivated for that. I don't know, it's hard to say, but of course it will be difficult. There are a lot of quality teams, so I believe it will be a difficult season."

FOCUS

"I think they [the fans] have been amazing in all my time here. We've had some great nights, and I hope I can share some new moments in the season to come. We are motivated to start the pre-season, do a good job, prepare well, so that in the new season we can share great moments. It's fantastic to be here. The city, the Club, the people around us, the people inside the Club... It's great. It's good to be starting now, to be here on the first day, I'm very excited, for the next few days and the next season."
