Sport Lisboa e Benfica informs that it has reached an agreement for the permanent transfer of Gilberto to Bahia (Brazil).

The 30-year-old full-back played three seasons with an eagle on his chest, made 106 appearances, scored eight goals, and won a National Championship title.

In this new stage of his career, SL Benfica wishes Gilberto all the best.
