João Neves' goal against Belgium at the European Under-21 Championship in Romania and Georgia was voted the best of the competition.

The Benfica midfielder's goal in Portugal's 2-1 triumph was among 10 goals chosen by a panel of UEFA technical observers.

Submitted to the public vote, João Neves got the better of Zuriko Davitashvilo (Georgia), who scored for the Netherlands, and Georgiy Sudakov (Ukraine), who scored against France.
